We offer a Self-Pay Discount for patients without insurance or those with out-of-network plans. We are committed to price transparency and can provide a "Superbill" upon request for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
Our Integrated Billing Model
How Our Practice Works
To provide the deep-dive, root-cause analysis that Functional Medicine requires, our clinic uses a hybrid billing model. This allows us to spend more time with you than a traditional 15-minute office visit.

Insurance: We bill your insurance for the medical portion of your visit (see our in-network list above).

Functional Medicine Fee: There is a per-visit fee to cover our specialized functional medicine services, including advanced biometric data review and personalized wellness protocols.

The Member Advantage: If you are a Snake River Wellness Member, all per-visit functional medicine fees are waived. Members also receive a discount off Pure Encapsulations supplements.
Telemedicine
(Virtual Visits)
Experience high-quality care from the comfort of your home. Our secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform allows you to meet with your provider via smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Is Telemedicine covered by my insurance?

Most of our in-network providers (like Blue Cross and Select Health) cover telehealth visits at the same rate as in-person appointments. We recommend calling the number on your card to confirm your specific plan's "Telehealth Benefit."

What equipment do I need for a virtual visit?

All you need is a device with a camera, a microphone, and a stable internet connection. No special software downloads are required.

What if I have technical issues during my call?

If you have trouble connecting, please call our office at 208-366-1200 immediately, and our staff will assist you or convert your visit to a phone consultation if appropriate.

Why is there an extra fee on top of my insurance?

Standard insurance models are designed for quick, symptom-focused visits. Functional Medicine requires significantly more time for research, complex lab interpretation, and building your personalized plan. This fee ensures we can give your health the time and attention it deserves without rushing.

Can I use my HSA/FSA for the Functional Medicine fee?

In many cases, yes! Most Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts cover Functional Medicine fees. We recommend checking with your plan administrator to confirm.
